We Are One (WAO) is an award-winning Wheelchair Dance Group in India and a social inclusion organisation founded by Mr. Husnain who is himself a differently-abled classical wheelchair dancer from the past two decades. Through powerful dance performances, an inclusive dance academy, educational programs, and community outreach, we transform how society views disability.
We may not all walk the same path. Some of us move on wheels, some cannot hear, some cannot speak. Yet within us beats a dancing heart—one that moves hands and feet beyond the limits of belief. Seeing, truly, is believing.
Guided by this rhythm, our hearts, hands, and wheels have travelled across India and the world, captivating audiences of every age and background. We Are One stands ready to break social and artistic barriers, drive inclusion through creativity, inspire both differently-abled and abled individuals, and celebrate humanity through the universal language of dance.
